Rosy Symphony began on Mother’s Day, when I bought my mom a bouquet of flowers. The arrangement felt too lovely and meaningful to let the moment simply pass, so I wanted to capture it in a painting.

I spent about four hours translating the bouquet onto canvas, paying attention to the rhythm of the flowers and the way they came together as one arrangement. Painting it gave me another way to hold onto the warmth behind the gift.

What began as a Mother’s Day bouquet became a small keepsake: a memory of love, gratitude, and an ordinary gesture made lasting through paint.
