Summer Bouquet

During a vacation, I shared a meal with friends at a restaurant where a beautiful bouquet of daisies rested on the table. Its simple brightness stayed with me, and I decided that when I returned home, I would revisit the bouquet through my own perspective.

In Summer Bouquet, I translated that memory into oil on canvas, gathering white daisies in a round cobalt-blue vase. The cool blue, soft green foliage, and warm pink tabletop bring an upbeat energy to the arrangement while preserving the flowers’ easy, unassuming charm.

This painting is less a literal record than a return to a small moment of beauty—a reminder that inspiration can appear in the middle of an ordinary meal, then travel home with us and become something personal.
